A non-profit travel and tourism organisation ITOPC (Indian Tour Operators Promotion Council) was set up with the sole purpose of independently serving the global tourists and tourism industry people. ITOPC is not affiliated with any government organisation, but it has a group of volunteers who intend to promote travel and tourism in India.

The Indian Tour Operators Promotion Council represents and speaks for the common interests and issues of the Indian travel and tourism industry.
