Kalimpong is one of the most popular
hill stations of India which offers panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and
other Himalayan peaks to all the travellers who enter this mesmerising piece
of land. In fact Kalimpong is a blaze of colour throughout the year and the
credit for this goes to the orchids of the region. The vast rolling meadows
covered with a stole of wild flowers, the sparkling brooks and rivulets
meandering lazily by the terraced fields are a great delight to the senses
and makes us plan a trip to this place time and again.
