Rajmachi Fort - This old fort probably belongs to the Yadav period
and has two small forts attached to its called 'Shrivardhan' and
'Manoranjan. This fort can be reached only by fort due to its location. It
offers a Great trekking experience.
Tunga Fort - Surrounded by Pavana Dam, the location of the fort is
exciting and enhancing. There is also a temple here that is solely dedicated
to Mahadeo.
Lohagad Fort - This fort was so named because it was considered
impregnable. This is located at about 10 kms from Lonavala. The entrance to
this fort is very impressive and is sometimes referred as 'Delhi Gate'.
Visapur Fort - This fort lies opposite Lohagad. At the top of
the fort you can find lots of water tanks, ponds and the double -walled
ruins of a chieftain's residence.
Tikona Fort - At the top of this fort lies an ancient Buddhist cave
and some water tanks.
Koregad Fort - Koregad fort is embellished with a few ponds and
stands alone in majestic solitude.
Ryewood Park - This park is a must see during your visit to
Lonavala. It has turned to be a major picnic spot.
Bushy Dam - This small dam is by far an important tourist spot. On
weekends during monsoons this place is packed with people as the water
running over the steps of the dam creates an interesting waterfall.
Karla and Bhaja Caves - These caves are must sees because they
represent the best example of rock-cut architecture.
Kune Falls - This water falls where water comes down from a height
of more than 100 feet is majestic in appearance one can have bath in the
water that flows through the valley. This place is between Lonavala and
Khandala.

Lonavala is an outdoor enthusiast's hot spot. The
adventure buffs can take a walk along the waterfalls, the grassy abundance
and hills in and around Lonavala. The mountainous terrain of Lonavala is
ideal for trekking and hiking. You can walk up to Sausage Hills, which are

Paragliding - Fifteen km from Lonavala, you can grab a spectacular
view of Pawna Lake and Tung Fort.
