The Hindu is one of the leading English newspapers of India. It has

National Readership Survey, The Hindu has been rated as the second highest
read English newspaper in India after The Times Of India. In the year 1995,
the Hindu became the first Indian newspaper to provide an online edition.
The paper is issued from Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Coimbatore,
Kochi, Madurai, Mangalore, Thiruvanathapuram, Tiruchirapalli, Vijayawada and
Visakhapatnam.
