Incredible India 'Bed And Breakfast' Scheme.

India, since time immemorial has been in the priority list of all the globe trotters. With every passing year the Indian tourism industry experiences a boom. The credit for such incredible growth in the tourism sector to a great extent goes to the hotels and other supplementary accommodation. A tourist's visit to India can be made memorable with the fine hotels and the services offered by them. In order to provide comfortable home stay facilities of standardized world class services to the tourists and to supplement the availability of accommodation facilities in the metros and other tourist destination the Ministry of Tourism has come up with the Incredible India 'Bed And Breakfast' Scheme.

Main Objective:
The basic idea behind the Incredible India Bed And Breakfast Scheme is to provide a home-like, clean and affordable accommodation facilities to the tourists of India and abroad. The scheme gives the foreign tourists an opportunity to experience the customs and traditions and relish the authentic cuisine of India during their stay with an Indian family.

The Regional Classification Committee inspect and assess the Bed and Breakfast Establishments on the parameters of the services offered by them. The establishments once approved by the Ministry of Tourism would be duly publicized. A directory of such establishments would also be maintained so as to help the foreign as well as domestic tourists to benefit themselves from the scheme. In addition to these a short term training programme would be started for all those planning to opt for providing the establishments.
